As Dissidia is a PSP game, there are hardware limits on what you can do. You also want your model to be less than 12k triangles. You need the GMO models from the game, too. MAYBE MAYBE POSSIBLY seeing if I can bug the a modding community to help me resize the UI to make it smaller The DLCMaker, the GMOTool, PNG2GIMv3, and if you're looking to make facial animations Photoshop and an old version of SkyBladeCloud's Dissidia Modding Suite. Status effect icons, as my attempts to redraw them myself came out horribly. I'll definitely redo some of the really noticeably-bad stage textures, but characters is probably a no-go. None of the characters stand still for long enough to notice the textures are low-res. I was originally going to painstakingly upscale all of the character textures and stage textures, but I'm not even sure that's necessary. (I also have this sneaking suspicion that the second I finish this, SE is going to announce some kind of HD remaster because that's my luck) One-man team who doesn't really know anyone else who actually plays this game lmao. I'm working on this pretty slowly, but progress is definitely being made. It was also discovered that slots for more Music DLC exist, with 255 slots.
DISSIDIA 012 MODS MODS
I don't think the community is active enough to warrant doing the hundreds of low-res images and finding the sources for them. Due to the overwhelming modding community for Dissidia 012 however, players are capable of using character mods to fill in these extra DLC slots to allow for more alternate costumes or new character models completely, without having to replace the default models. Sorry, KH1 Cloud.Ī lot of the multiplayer icons are complete, but I'm not entirely sure how worth it it would be to do all of them. Also, I'm only doing the battle portraits for the primary costume, as there is unfortunately no high resolution artwork for any of the alternate costumes unless I start making it look super homebrew and awful. I've completed all character names in-battleĬompleted all battle portraits (the in-battle UI is now completely done outside of one or two elements and some specific story stuff). It's been a few months so here's some updates: I recently saw a YouTube video of someone playing the game with a way older version of this texture pack and oh boy have I made a lot of improvements.
